week 4, the visual journey
"you are required to create a series of photographs that record your observations during a journey through an enviroment chosen by you.
...
- develop your compositional eye - attempt to look adventurously and unpredictably. consider viewpoint, close-ups, exaggerated or flattened perspectives, framing.
- practice your camera handling - master focus, exposure and consider focal point and depth of field.
- take a significant journey - not merely the quarter mile around the college or (worse yet) the inside of your flat.
- investigate compositions, patterns, gestural marks, textures, symbols, motifs, contrasts or connections within built and rural environments
- have you been an impartial witness or have you actively participated within/influenced your environment?"
We want to know what love means to you!
